The Utility Officer works on a full-time basis across multiple posts and must be available for all three shifts, all schedules, and short-notice coverage for call-offs. Schedules are generally made one or two weeks in advance, though last-minute coverage needs may arise. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and is subject to supervision from Branch/Account Managers, Post Supervisors, and Field Supervisors. A resume must be attached for an application to advance; candidates may also use the application text box to provide work history and contact information. The officer performs security patrols and inspections at assigned sites, monitors for hazards and security issues, enforces site rules, responds to alarms and emergencies, and documents findings. Duties may vary, and other duties may be assigned by the Operations Manager or Branch General Manager. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The position pays $20 per hour. The employer states that it offers benefits and career-growth opportunities but does not specify individual benefits in the posting.
