Requirements

Intermediate math (add, subtract, multiply and/or divide proportions, percentages, area, volume, etc.)
Basic computer knowledge and usage skills
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required
Stand up to 8 hours
Lift up to 60 lbs
Work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC)
Will be exposed to noise of > 85 decibels, CO2 and moving production equipment
Ability to lift 10 lbs repeatedly and climb steps
Ability to frequently kneel, crawl, stoop, and bend
Work around raw, live animal odors

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
Experience in working with agricultural and/or farm equipment preferred

Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for loading feed trucks with appropriate feed type and quantity.
Obtain daily samples of all feed types per company sampling requirements and policies.
Perform work in compliance with all company policies, GMP’s, FSMA regulations, local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Operate feed bulk load-out system, load and weigh feed trucks with required feed type and quantity.
Communicate and coordinate schedule and production with personnel to maximize efficiency.
Report equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel in a timely manner to reduce down time.
Take and record daily inventories.
Provide documentation on feed invoices and ingredient weight tickets as requested.
Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Work in compliance with all company policies, GMP’s, FSMA regulations and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
