About The Position

Lucas Tree Experts, a leader in the tree care industry, is seeking a Utility Line Clearance Supervisor to join their Management Team in South Carolina. This is a year-round, full-time, outdoor opportunity. The role requires a strong supervisory background and involves overseeing personnel in various company operations to secure and maintain business, supervising assigned crews, scheduling, directing, and performing activities related to tree work for utility and private customers. The supervisor will also interact with community members and homeowners to ensure proper work completion and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of industry experience or prior supervisory experience in a comparable role, and be comfortable with all aspects of supervision and management.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years in the tree industry or prior supervisory experience
  • Strong management, organizational, and people skills
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • HS Diploma/GED/or equivalent
  • Current and valid driver’s license in good standing as determined by Lucas Tree
  • Able to work outside in various types of weather
  • Physically able to perform the requirements of the position
  • Able to travel as needed for the position
  • Familiar with technology (i.e. smart phones, computers) and have basic computer skills
  • Able to create estimates for the purpose of bidding on new jobs and ensures good public relations at all times
  • Able to develop new accounts and maintains existing customers as well as investigates and solves complaints
  • Must have or be willing and able to obtain, and maintain licenses & certifications (Pesticide, Arborist, CDL, CTSP) as required by the position
  • Able to successfully complete a post offer physical & drug screen
  • Able to successfully complete a background and motor vehicle check

  • Supervise assigned crews, schedule, direct and performs activities related to tree work for utility and private customers
  • Work with various community members and home owners to ensure proper work is completed and all parties are satisfied
  • Create estimates for the purpose of bidding on new jobs and ensures good public relations at all times
  • Develop new accounts and maintains existing customers as well as investigates and solves complaints
