About The Position
MOR PPM Inc. is seeking a full-time Utility Laborer located in Hallam, Nebraska. The role performs unskilled tasks as required by the foreman. Work may include plant support activities such as mowing and industrial cleaning, serving as a tool room attendant or runner, cleanup, and general labor. Duties are not limited to these assignments, and the employee may be required to perform small maintenance jobs. The position involves physical work in varied conditions, including wet, humid, hot, and cold weather; bright or dim light; traffic; heights; dust; and pollen. Some work areas have high noise and vibration.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of experience is desired.
- A minimum of one year of power plant maintenance or construction work experience is desired.
- Occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Climb stairwells up to 15 levels high.
- Ascend and descend step, extension, and cage ladders up to 24 feet high.
- Walk at a normal pace for up to 15 continuous minutes.
- Work from a standing position for 8–12 hours.
- Twist and bend on a recurring basis.
- Meet the position's normal visual acuity, field vision, hearing, speaking, color perception, smell, depth perception, and texture perception demands.
Responsibilities
