About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is hiring a dependable and motivated Utility III for its Weekend Day Shift team in Hanover, Pennsylvania. The role supports production by operating and monitoring equipment used to produce cheese curls and cheese balls. The position works Friday through Sunday, 5:55 AM to 5:55 PM, offering a three-day workweek. The work involves unloading potatoes, operating a forklift and a Spudnik, and helping maintain production operations and cleanliness. The role requires working proactively with a cross-functional team and following Good Manufacturing Practices.

Requirements

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Knowledge of preparation procedures for packing and the location of the product storage area, acquired through one month of on-the-job training.
• Ability to perform moderate lifting of up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to pull or pump jacks carrying up to 250 pounds.
• Ability to lift at least 85 pounds to head height on occasion.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of items moved.

Responsibilities
