About The Position

Utility Support Operator II is responsible for bringing the right people into the right place. If you share our values, come find your place in our global community. You will be based in our Springfield, TN location. The shift will start at 4:30 am and end at 1:00pm based on production needs.

Requirements

Must be “Assessed and Standard Maintained” (3/4 boxes filled) in 4 (four) jobs in current zone.
Communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing.
Able to work with insulation.
Able to use air tools, hand tools necessary to perform position.
Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
Must be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.
Must be able to handle repetitive movements like pushing, pulling, bending down and lifting of packages/totes/materials.
Must be able to manually move packages from one place to another. Whether it be from equipment to conveyor, from pack table to pallet, or from one side of the business to another.
Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet (8-10 hours).

Nice To Haves

Yellow belt preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provides support throughout the Assembly department in producing the highest quality products, on time, that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Assists supervisor in training of associates and follow-up of quality related issues.
Back fill for absenteeism.
Assist C.A. with changeovers.
Learn basic A.C.-D.C. electricity and electrical flow.
Learn basic knowledge of gas flow (connections, dangers, LP vs. Natural, drop test procedure, etc.).
Reads and comprehends schematic wiring diagrams.
Troubleshoots functional defects.
