The Utility Foreman will supervise, coordinate, and assist in the construction and repair of both overhead and underground distribution. This role involves responding to and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner, providing leadership and training to line and service personnel, and championing safe work practices to ensure compliance with Company Safety Rules. The goal is to ensure network goals and objectives are met or exceeded. The position requires managing all SO/SR/WR's in DIS/DSS, organizing work, and managing multiple tasks and inputs simultaneously. It also involves working with others and maintaining a positive attitude in extreme working conditions. A strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and accuracy is essential for directing construction/repair crews safely and restoring the electric system efficiently. The role includes assisting in Network operations, storm restorations, and operation of AM/FM, as well as directing contract crews. The foreman will motivate and influence a diverse and geographically dispersed work force dealing with a wide variety of safety and training issues. The position may also require assuming Line Supervisor's duties for short periods in their absence. As a provider of essential services, Entergy expects its employees to be available to work additional hours, in alternate locations, and/or perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other situations as deemed necessary by the company. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime associated with such duties. Authorization to work in the United States is a precondition to employment in this position.
