As a Utility Dispatcher, you will be the central point of communication for all dispatch functions for electric, natural gas, water, wastewater, and revenue protection. In this role, you will operate a variety of communication equipment, including two-way radios, pagers, cell phones, and personal computers, to receive, prioritize, schedule, and dispatch emergency and non-emergency calls for service. The work that you will do is critical to keeping our crews and our community safe, ensuring that emergency incidents are addressed in a timely and effective manner. Due to the criticality of this position, the successful incumbent will be required to work shift work (days, swings, flex, and nights), weekends, and holidays to ensure coverage for the organization, as well as live within a 15-mile radius of our service territory.
