The role also includes analyzing existing systems, recommending solutions, and directing implementation activities for software upgrades and testing. Additionally, the administrator is responsible for developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and training plans, as well as preparing and reviewing requests for proposals and contracts. The position requires leading scripting, queries, reports, and data validity testing, managing systems and services, and scheduling update meetings. Recommendations on technological products and services are also a key part of the role, as is coordinating with subject matter experts to design third-party interfaces and collaborating with project teams for new system development. The administrator will manage operations, provide administrative support, plan and direct functions for a section or program, establish work priorities, monitor progress, and resolve complex inquiries and complaints. This role includes supervising assigned personnel, which involves scheduling, instructing, guiding, checking work, appraising performance, providing training, enforcing rules, counseling, motivating, and interviewing applicants.
