About The Position

Utility Cleaners support a range of hotel functions and may work across departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry, to meet cleaning needs. Duties include preparing clean linen and dining ware, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools such as dishwashing machines, hand-wash stations, linen washers, and dryers, and transporting dishware or linens throughout the hotel.

The role requires following company policies and procedures, maintaining quality standards and a professional uniform and appearance, and communicating professionally. Associates develop positive working relationships, support team goals, listen and respond to coworkers’ concerns, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• No high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
