About The Position

The Utility Assembly-II supports the Assembly department in producing high-quality products on time and meeting or exceeding customer expectations. The role assists the supervisor with associate training and follow-up on quality-related issues, provides coverage for absent employees, and assists the C.A. with changeovers. The employee learns basic AC-DC electricity and electrical flow, reads and understands schematic wiring diagrams, and troubleshoots functional defects. The position is based in Springfield, Tennessee, and the first shift is scheduled from 4:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., depending on the production schedule. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of manufacturing maintenance experience.
Be “Assessed and Standard Maintained” (3 of 4 boxes filled) in 4 jobs in the current zone.
Communicate clearly and concisely in English, verbally and in writing; able to read and write English.
Able to work with insulation.
Able to use air tools and hand tools necessary to perform the position.
Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
