About The Position

The Utility Assembly-II supports the Assembly department in producing high-quality products on time and meeting or exceeding customer expectations. The role assists the supervisor with training associates and following up on quality-related issues, fills in for absent associates, and assists the C.A. with changeovers. The employee learns basic A.C.-D.C. electricity and electrical flow, reads and comprehends schematic wiring diagrams, and troubleshoots functional defects.

The position is based at Electrolux's Springfield, Tennessee location. The first shift starts at 4:45 a.m. and ends at 1:15 p.m., depending on the production schedule. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Be “Assessed and Standard Maintained” (3/4 boxes filled) in four jobs in the current zone.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in English verbally and in writing.
• Be able to read and write English.
• Be able to work with insulation.
• Be able to use air tools and hand tools necessary to perform the position.
• Be able to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
