Requirements

Ability to safely perform essential Utility 18 Operator/Auto Punch/Press Operator duties in a manufacturing environment while maintaining compliance with all safety requirements.
Physical ability to perform job functions for 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, including standing, operating equipment, and handling materials as required.
Knowledge of and commitment to safe work practices that protect both self and coworkers.
Ability to effectively operate and monitor automated punch press and related production equipment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow work instructions, quality standards, and production requirements.
Effective communication skills and willingness to report any limitations affecting job performance and work collaboratively to support operational needs.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all ABB safety policies and procedures, including proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
Perform physical job duties in a fast-paced production environment, including standing/walking for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and executing repetitive movements such as gripping, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
Operate and assist with the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of production equipment and tools to support efficient manufacturing operations and resolve equipment issues (e.g., die jams).
Follow written and verbal instructions, accurately interpret work orders, blueprints, inventory documentation, and shipping labels, while maintaining reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and short-notice assignments.
