About The Position
The City of Aiken Engineering & Utilities Department is accepting applications for a Utilities Worker in the Streets Division.
Requirements
- Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions and perform manual labor duties
- Valid driver's license
- Interpersonal skills
- Familiar in working with concrete, asphalt, as well as forms and framing
Responsibilities
- Pave utility and pothole patches
- Performs manual labor
- Repairs sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and driveways
- Make brick paver repairs
- Performs minor carpentry work
