Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Utilities Supervisor to support operations at the BMS Devens campus, including Biologics Large Scale Commercial Manufacturing, Biologics Clinical Manufacturing, Biologics Cell Bank Manufacturing, Biologics Development and Laboratory operations, and CAR-T (Cell Therapy) Manufacturing. The role involves ensuring the completion of all production maintenance activities, developing new systems and procedures, troubleshooting technical and administrative problems, managing maintenance tools, and developing/approving SOPs. The supervisor will also work with the Spare Parts group, support investigations of Maintenance related Quality Events, provide risk mitigation and troubleshooting for equipment system problems, and lead a team by providing clear vision, setting objectives, and monitoring performance. This position requires maintaining knowledge of business priorities, ensuring personnel training is current, developing personnel, and managing performance. The role involves developing and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for World-Class Maintenance performance, actively participating in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives, and identifying opportunities to optimize equipment and systems. The supervisor will ensure Job Plans are current for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures, establish expectations for compliance with EHS guidelines, cGMP regulations, and Company policies, and support the development and monitoring of related procedures. The role includes processing Quality Events (QE’s), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA’s), and Audit responses, troubleshooting customer service calls, and partnering with subject matter experts (SME) and Reliability services. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring accurate capture of R&M data on work orders and for the effective, uninterrupted support of Facilities operational activities. Cross-training and maintaining up-to-date system documentation are also key responsibilities. The role requires analyzing system operations, determining causes of problems, and taking corrective action, as well as complying with policies for hazardous materials and maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Any other assigned duties and tasks are also part of the role.
