Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Utilities Supervisor to support operations at the BMS Devens campus, including Biologics Large Scale Commercial Manufacturing, Biologics Clinical Manufacturing, Biologics Cell Bank Manufacturing, Biologics Development and Laboratory operations, and CAR-T (Cell Therapy) Manufacturing. The role involves ensuring the completion of all production maintenance activities, developing new systems and procedures, troubleshooting technical and administrative problems, managing maintenance tools, and developing/approving SOPs. The supervisor will also work with the Spare Parts group, provide support for Quality Events, and assist with risk mitigations and root cause analysis for equipment system problems. This position requires providing a clear vision, setting objectives, monitoring team activities, and offering feedback to motivate and enhance performance. The supervisor must maintain knowledge of business priorities, align maintenance execution with strategy, ensure field personnel training is current, develop personnel, manage performance, and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for World-Class Maintenance performance. Active participation in Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives is expected, including identifying opportunities to optimize equipment and systems, evaluating impacts on policies and regulations, and implementing action plans. The role also involves ensuring Job Plans are current for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures, establishing expectations for compliance with EHS guidelines, cGMP regulations, and Company policies, and processing QE's, CAPA's, and Audit responses. The supervisor will troubleshoot customer service calls, partner with SMEs and Reliability services, and ensure R&M data is captured on work orders. The position is responsible for the effective uninterrupted support of Facilities operational activities for BMS Devens, cross-training, and maintaining up-to-date system documentation. Analysis of system operations, problem determination, and corrective action are key responsibilities, along with complying with policies for hazardous materials and maintaining a clean and safe workplace. Additional duties may be assigned, including immediate clean-up of work areas, reporting equipment problems or shortages, maintaining tools, and ordering supplies.
