About The Position

This is a manual labor position that requires some electrical and mechanical maintenance skills. It involves both light and heavy physical labor in testing, operation, and maintenance and repair of water and sewerage systems and components. This position involves working in various weather conditions. Applicants must have working knowledge of hand and power tools. This person should have knowledge of materials, methods and techniques used in the repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems. This person should be able to establish periodic recurring type preventive maintenance work and prepare written reports. This person should have a working knowledge of occupational hazards and standard precautions of the work involved.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
• Ability to work at considerable heights above the ground.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Experience in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and techniques used in the repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Working knowledge of occupational hazards and standard precautions of the work involved.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
