About The Position

TSI is hiring a remote Utilities Collector to communicate with consumers about unpaid accounts and work toward resolution. The role involves maintaining accurate account records, locating consumer contact information, and helping delinquent consumers identify funds to meet payment obligations. The position is work from home for candidates in CST or MST time zones. Company-issued equipment is provided for work-from-home hires. Compensation is $15–$16 per hour plus a monthly commission bonus structure. Paid training is provided. Applicants must complete an online Harver assessment after submitting an application as part of the initial screening process.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with consumers by telephone, approve written correspondence, and attempt to resolve unpaid accounts.
• Provide thorough, efficient, and accurate account updates on computer files for each call made or received.
• Use skip tracing to locate consumer contact information.
• Counsel delinquent consumers to assist them in finding funds to meet their payment obligations.
• Comply with and stay up to date on applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
• Comply with and stay up to date on TSI policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of functional areas, company policies, and procedures.
• Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
• Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
