About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation is seeking a mail delivery driver/mail carrier to serve a United States Postal Service mail route in Sloughhouse, California. The route starts on 12/02/2026. The contractor provides their own qualifying vehicle and delivers mail and packages along an assigned route of approximately 35 delivery miles, with about 70 miles of driving per day. Compensation is $300 per day as a 1099 contractor, paid monthly.

The schedule is full-time, six days per week, Monday through Saturday, including some federal holidays. The estimated schedule is 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or 10 hours per day or less.

Requirements

• Have legal documentation to work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions.
• Reside in Sloughhouse, California, or a neighboring town or city.
• Provide a qualifying vehicle: a minivan or cargo van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity, less than five years old, and minimum liability insurance.
• Provide your own vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Former USPS employees or contractors are highly recommended.
• Candidates with minivans or cargo vans offering 120 cubic feet of cargo space and no center console are recommended for passenger-side mailbox delivery; the route may be difficult without these features but remains possible.
• Must be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes.
• Load mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.
• Deliver mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line of travel.
• Dismount when required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.
• Perform other required administrative duties.
