USPS Delivery Contractor - Lady Lake ,FL
About The Position
AEXP Express Corporation, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Lady Lake, FL. This is a full-time position requiring the contractor to provide their own vehicle and work Monday through Saturday, excluding federal holidays. The estimated daily driving distance is 20 miles, with an estimated 10-mile delivery route. The estimated work hours are 8 hours per day, from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. Compensation is $200 per day as a 1099 contractor, paid monthly.
Requirements
- Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
- Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Lady Lake, FL
- Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

- Candidates with Minivans and Cargo Vans without a center console for passenger side mailbox delivery
- Must be available to start immediately
Responsibilities
- Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
- Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
- Other administrative duties are required
