About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Lady Lake, FL. This route starts on 06/01/2026. The role involves sorting mail and packages, loading them into a delivery vehicle, and delivering them to customer boxes along an assigned route. This may include dismounting to deliver specific mail items. Other administrative duties are also required. The position is full-time, working 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, except federal holidays, with estimated hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (approximately 8 hours a day or less). The contractor will provide their own vehicle for a route of approximately 22 miles per day.

Requirements

Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 70 pounds
Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Lady Lake, FL
Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

Nice To Haves

Former USPS employees/contractors (Highly Recommended)
Candidates with Minivans and Cargo Vans without a center console for passenger side mailbox delivery (It will be hard to do the route if you do not meet this recommendation but still possible)
Must be available to start immediately

Responsibilities
