About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Lady Lake, FL. This is a full-time position, working 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, with estimated hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (6 hours or less per day). The route covers approximately 22 miles daily (11 miles for delivery). As a 1099 contractor, you will be paid $160 per day, with monthly payments.

Requirements

• Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds
• Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Lady Lake, FL
• Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

Nice To Haves

• Former USPS employees/contractors (Highly Recommended)
• Candidates with Minivans and Cargo Vans without a center console for passenger side mailbox delivery (It will be hard to do the route if you do not meet this recommendation but still possible)
• Must be available to start immediately

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties are required
