USPS Delivery Contractor - Carr, CO
About The Position
AEXP Express Corporation is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier on a United States Postal Service mail route in Carr, CO. This is a full-time position working 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday, with estimated hours of 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. The contractor will be responsible for sorting mail and packages, loading them into a delivery vehicle, and delivering them to customer boxes along an assigned route. This role requires the ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 70 pounds. The contractor will provide their own vehicle and will be responsible for 132 miles of driving per day.
Requirements
- Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds
- Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
- Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Carr, CO
- Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

Responsibilities
- Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
- Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
- Other administrative duties are required
