About The Position

AEXP Express Corporation, a leader in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, is seeking applicants for a mail delivery driver/mail carrier position on a USPS mail route in Golden, CO. This is a full-time 1099 contractor role, requiring the contractor to provide their own qualifying vehicle and work 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, with an estimated 12-hour workday. The route covers 22 miles daily, totaling 44 miles a day including return. The position offers a daily rate of $350, paid monthly.

Requirements

• Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds
• Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions
• Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Golden, CO
• Must have a qualifying vehicle (Minivan/Cargo Van with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance

• Former USPS employees/contractors (Highly Recommended)
• Candidates with Minivans and Cargo Vans without a center console for passenger side mailbox delivery
• Must be available to start immediately

Responsibilities

• Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
• Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
• Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
• Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
• Other administrative duties are required
