About The Position

As a member of our hospitality team, the primary responsibility of a Ticket Taker is to provide exceptional customer service to patrons attending entertainment events at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre by collecting admission tickets from patrons, providing general information, and ensuring a smooth entry process. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that guests are properly seated and that late seating policies are followed and carefully examines tickets or passes to verify their authenticity, preventing unauthorized access. This role is to enhance the guest experience and contribute to the smooth operation of entertainment events at the Performing Arts Centre.

Responsibilities

Welcome and warmly greet patrons attending entertainment events at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre, providing a friendly and positive atmosphere.
Collect admission tickets and passes from patrons with professionalism and courtesy.
Provide helpful and informative details about the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre, assisting guests with any questions or inquiries they may have.
Ensure guests are seated properly and by the venue's seating policies, offering assistance to those who may need it.
Assist patrons with ticketing and seating issues promptly, resolving any concerns to enhance the overall guest experience.
Verify the authenticity of tickets or passes presented by patrons, ensuring a smooth entry process.
In the event of emergencies, guide patrons to exits and provide necessary assistance while remaining calm and composed.
Direct patrons to amenities such as restrooms and concession stands, offering helpful directions as needed.
Responsible for distributing and collecting event programs and materials, and keeping guests informed about the show or performance.
Promptly communicate any guest's special needs or emergencies to Management, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Exhibit a positive, flexible, friendly, and courteous attitude toward guests and colleagues, promoting a cohesive and welcoming team environment.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, handling various responsibilities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
