User Interface Automated Test Engineer (26-381)
About The Position
The User Interface Automated Test Engineer is responsible for software development for the User Interface (UI) using Java, C++, and Python. Under minimal direction, the engineer assists in designing and implementing an automated testing framework for a suite of UI products. The role involves understanding test requirements and developing test scripts in Python, while working independently and as part of a team in a highly dynamic environment. This is a full-time, on-site position in Colorado Springs, Colorado, within a secure classified workspace. Employees must follow applicable security protocols and access-control procedures, including restrictions on personal electronic devices and handling sensitive information. A Secret clearance is required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of automated testing.
- Basic understanding of Git/GitLab.
- Knowledge of common software development and management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Familiarity with software engineering and Python development.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience.
- Secret clearance required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to take on unanticipated tasking.
