About The Position

I2X Technologies is seeking a User Interface Automated Test Engineer to support ongoing customer activities in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The position is on-site and requires an active Secret clearance. The engineer will develop software in Java, C++, and Python for the program’s user interface. Under minimal direction, the engineer will help design and implement an automated testing framework for the suite of program UI products. The role involves applying knowledge of automated testing, interpreting test requirements, and developing Python test scripts.

The position generally calls for at least one year of related experience; post-secondary education or training in a related discipline may be applicable. Familiarity with agile development is highly desired. A Security+ certification and experience using Selenium to test web applications are also desired.

The job involves regularly sitting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or steps, with possible long-distance walking from parking to the work station. It may also involve occasional twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching overhead, and forward motion. Repetitive hand, arm, or finger movements and manual dexterity are required. Vision, speech, and hearing abilities are needed for the work, and lifting up to 20 pounds may be required. The position also demands tolerance for varying levels of mental stress.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of automated testing.
• Basic understanding of Git/GitLab.
• Knowledge of common software development and management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Familiarity with software engineering and Python development.
• Generally, at least one year of related experience; post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline may be applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, Gradle, ClearCase, Jenkins, PyAutoGUI, and Tesseract.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• Security+ certification.
• Experience using the Selenium framework to test web applications.
