About The Position

SAS is hiring an undergraduate intern for its Core UI Design function within the R&D Division. The team partners with Core UI Development Teams to translate designs into high-quality, production-ready UI elements. The intern will contribute to meaningful design work, collaborating with product management, design peers, product teams, developers, and accessibility experts. Work may include designing flows and prototypes, exploring data-informed visualizations, addressing AI-enabled design challenges, using the Filament Design System, conducting and analyzing user research, testing designs, and documenting interface or component specifications. This is a 12-week, hybrid internship based at SAS’s Cary, North Carolina headquarters, running May 18 through August 6, 2027. Interns must be available to begin in person at Cary HQ on May 18, and the dates are not flexible. The hybrid arrangement requires at least three days per week in the office.
