About The Position

Lithia Hyundai of Fresno is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Technician to join our expanding reconditioning team. If you have at least 3 years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning used vehicles of various makes and models, we want to hear from you. Our used vehicle department continues to grow, and we're looking for technicians who take pride in delivering quality work that helps get vehicles ready quickly and safely.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience, preferably in a used vehicle or independent repair environment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working on multiple vehicle brands.
Ability to perform repairs independently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
Hyundai experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on used vehicles of all makes and models.
Complete reconditioning work, including brakes, suspension, steering, engine, electrical, HVAC, and general mechanical repairs.
Perform maintenance services and manufacturer-recommended repairs.
Identify needed repairs and accurately document findings.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards.
Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
