Used Vehicle Sales Manager
About The Position
Freeland Auto is actively seeking an experienced, high-performing Used Vehicle Sales Manager to join our growing dealership team. We are looking for a proven automotive sales leader with strong desking ability, excellent deal structure knowledge, leadership skills, and a track record of driving volume, gross, and team performance. CDJR experience is strongly preferred, but we are open to top-performing automotive managers from other brands with a strong used vehicle background. This is an opportunity for a driven automotive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands inventory management and dealership operations, and knows how to lead from the front while building a winning culture. Requirements
- Previous Automotive Sales Manager or Used Vehicle Manager experience required
- Strong desking and closing experience required
- Used vehicle inventory management experience preferred
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong CRM and dealership software experience
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening
Nice To Haves
- CDJR dealership experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Desk and structure automotive deals effectively and profitably
- Work closely with sales consultants to maximize closing ratios and customer satisfaction
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team
- Drive used vehicle sales volume and profitability
- Partner with leadership on inventory strategy and merchandising
- Monitor deal structure, lender approvals, and compliance standards
- Assist in managing internet leads, showroom traffic, and follow-up processes
- Ensure strong CRM utilization and accountability
- Support inventory acquisition efforts and used vehicle sourcing
- Help create a high-energy, high-performance sales culture
