About The Position

JEFF WYLER COLERAIN NISSAN is looking for experienced Used Car Technicians to join their busy service department. The ideal candidate knows how to diagnose problems, make quality repairs, and get the job done right the first time. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing used vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and ready for the road. The dealership values skilled, independent technicians who take pride in their work and do not require excessive supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of automotive systems, equipment, and tools
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose used vehicles for mechanical and electrical issues
• Perform maintenance and repair work
• Replace faulty or worn components
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation
• Accurately document all work performed
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors or customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
