About The Position
Jeff Wyler Colerain Nissan is looking for Experienced flat rate technicians to join their team in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility. The role involves diagnosing and repairing most vehicle components with little supervision, functioning as an A or B Class service technician. Technicians will perform work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and factory standards. This includes diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, examining vehicles for additional service needs, and communicating effectively with service advisors regarding work scope and timelines. The position also requires documenting all work performed, road testing vehicles, and staying current with manufacturer technical bulletins through ongoing training.
Requirements
- Automotive and engine repair experience preferred.
- Experience working on Nissan cars or Nissan certifications preferred.
- Hold a valid driver’s license.
- Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

- Previously worked as an A or B Class service technician.
Responsibilities
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, by the dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnoses the cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
- Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Communicates with the service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if the work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
