About The Position

Sarat Ford Lincoln is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our busy and growing service team. This full-time position focuses on inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards before reaching the retail lot. Requirements

Previous automotive technician experience required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to inspect, evaluate, and repair major vehicle systems
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Team-oriented attitude with a professional approach

Nice To Haves

Ford and Lincoln experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Inspect and evaluate incoming used vehicles for mechanical, electrical, and safety concerns
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems to dealership standards
Perform maintenance, reconditioning, and repair work efficiently and accurately
Ensure all vehicles meet safety and quality standards prior to retail sale
Document repairs and recommendations on repair orders
Communicate findings with Service Advisors and management
Perform road tests to verify repairs and vehicle performance
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow dealership reconditioning processes and timelines
Assist with additional service department work as needed
