About The Position

Mission Valley Honda is seeking a Used Car Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for conducting multi-point inspections and completing used vehicle reconditioning services to ensure vehicles meet dealership quality and safety standards. The technician will diagnose and repair various vehicle systems, document work accurately, and test-drive vehicles to verify repairs. This is a flat rate position with potential for incentives and bonuses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience required
• Honda or similar brand experience
• Understand on how to perform multi-point inspections
• Strong electronic diagnostic skills
• ASE certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
• Maintain productivity and efficiency goals
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-point inspections
• Complete used vehicle reconditioning services to ensure vehicles meet dealership quality and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, HVAC, electrical, and engine components.
• Accurately document inspections, repair recommendations, and completed work orders.
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation and repair quality.
