About The Position

Kendall Value Lot in Nampa is seeking a strong, energetic leader with a passion for developing relationships, providing exceptional guest experiences, and innovating in the automotive industry to redefine the car-buying experience. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing the sales department through coaching and supporting salespersons. This role involves working directly with sales staff to close sales, negotiating vehicle prices, appraising incoming vehicles, selling finance products, conducting Finance Manager duties (deal financing, paperwork, contracts in transit), leading sales meetings and trainings, and supervising sales staff to ensure policy and procedure compliance. Additional duties include managing an efficient and profitable vehicle inventory, planning and controlling dealership sales activities, and staying knowledgeable about and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. The working environment is primarily indoors, involving extended periods on a PC, standing and walking for short distances, and frequent phone use.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive sales management experience is required.
  • Proven track record of success and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Growing the sales department through coaching and providing support to the Salespersons.
  • Assisting sales staff in closing sales.
  • Actively participating in vehicle price negotiation.
  • Appraising incoming vehicles.
  • Selling finance products.
  • Conducting Finance Manager roles including getting deals financed, paperwork, and contracts in transit.
  • Conducting sales meetings and trainings.
  • Supervising sales staff ensuring policy and procedure compliance.
  • Stocking an efficient and profitable vehicle inventory.
  • Planning, organizing, and controlling dealership sales activities.
  • Maintaining knowledge and complying with laws and regulations affecting vehicle sales.
