We are looking for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department. The right candidate will have a proven track record in automotive sales management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for maximizing profitability through inventory management, team development, and an exceptional customer experience. Requirements

3+ years of automotive sales management experience required
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Strong knowledge of used vehicle valuation tools
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience managing vehicle inventory and sourcing through auctions
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the used car sales department
Source, acquire, and manage pre-owned vehicle inventory to meet market demand and profitability goals
Set pricing strategy for used vehicle inventory in alignment with market conditions
Hire, train, and develop a high-performing used car sales team
Coach sales associates on closing techniques and customer satisfaction best practices
Set and monitor sales goals, tracking progress against monthly and annual targets
Work closely with the reconditioning department to ensure vehicles are retail-ready in a timely manner
Manage trade-in appraisals and auction sourcing
Collaborate with the Finance and F&I department to maximize per-vehicle gross profit
Analyze market data and adjust inventory mix accordingly
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to used vehicle sales
