About The Position
Olympia Kia is seeking a results-driven Used Car Sales Manager / Desk Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle operation. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of inventory management, deal structuring, lender relationships, desking, and coaching sales professionals to maximize performance and customer satisfaction. Requirements
- Previous automotive desk manager, used car manager, or sales manager experience required
- Proven ability to structure profitable deals and manage inventory effectively
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience with lender relationships and automotive financing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented dealership environment
- Strong understanding of dealership operations and performance metrics
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Desk and structure retail automotive transactions
- Work closely with sales consultants to maximize gross profit and vehicle sales
- Manage all aspects of used vehicle operations
- Source, appraise, and acquire used vehicle inventory
- Monitor inventory turn and pricing strategies
- Partner with finance managers and lending institutions to secure approvals
- Train, coach, and motivate sales staff to achieve dealership goals
- Review deal profitability and ensure compliance with dealership policies
- Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for growth
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while achieving sales objectives
