About The Position

Hello Auto Group has an immediate opening in our used-car development program at our rapidly growing Mazda store in San Diego, California. This program is designed for individuals who are passionate about the automotive business and want to be more involved in the used-car department, or for those new to the industry who are curious and seeking the right opportunity to join. At Hello, we believe the used-car department is a crucial skill set for all managers and are building a program for the right person to learn the business with a very hands-on approach, working alongside our used-car Inventory Managers and Sales Managers. We are a local and privately owned dealer group where the owners are present, accessible, and involved in day-to-day operations, fostering a culture of teamwork and positive energy. We welcome applicants with prior automotive sales experience, as well as those currently in customer service roles in other fields. The position offers a guaranteed hourly base salary plus bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in presenting our online vehicles on our website
  • Assisting in managing the inventory from the time we acquire it to the time it arrives on our front line
  • Communicating with vendors on reconditioning cars as well as repairs
  • Walking our lot to assure the cars are displayed properly as well as assuring all the necessary materials are in the vehicle
