About The Position

We are looking for a driven, resilient, and persuasive communicator to join our team as a Kelley Blue Book (KBB) / Used Car Buyer! In this position, you will work directly with vehicle owners looking to sell their cars. You’ll be the friendly face and voice of our acquisition team, presenting fair offers, establishing strong relationships, and ensuring a fast, honest payout for every client. If you are a naturally expressive communicator who loves interacting with people and closing deals with total confidence, we want you on our team. This role is built for a natural conversationalist who can read the room, speak from the heart, and smoothly transform a cautious inquiry into a successful buy-in.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, retail acquisitions, customer negotiation, or customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license (required to drive and move purchased vehicles)
  • Tech Savvy - you're comfortable utilizing the Google Suite, high-volume phone/text platforms, and CRM tracking systems
  • Reliable, organized, self-directed, and highly resilient with strong attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with automotive buying, sales, or vehicle appraisal
  • Familiarity with Kelley Blue Book (KBB) or other professional vehicle valuation tools
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and connect with private vehicle sellers online and via high-volume phone calls and texts
  • Estimate vehicle values accurately, leveraging your automotive knowledge, market data, and live market insights
  • Coordinate appointments, greet sellers in-store, and ensure a smooth, welcoming, and transparent vehicle acquisition process
  • Learn and utilize advanced dealership tools, including vAuto and our customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Handle customer objections with empathy, transparency, and resilience to secure vehicle inventory
  • Track and maintain organized, accurate records of all customer interactions and vehicle documentation
