About The Position

The U.S. Vaccines business unit is a critical strategic pillar of Pfizer’s commercial portfolio, representing the largest collective impact on population health and substantial contribution to enterprise revenues and earnings. Our Vaccines protect millions of lives every year across every stage of life. Our inline and pipeline products represent a key part of Pfizer’s renewed strategy for 2030 and beyond. Today, U.S. Vaccines are largely administered within two ‘traditional’ channels – at point of care (in HCP offices and health systems) and via retail pharmacy. However, driven by numerous factors, vaccination rates have consistently fallen year over year in the past 5 years, culminating in double-digit declines in the latest northern hemisphere winter ‘season’ of administrations. At the same time, intense competition across categories and the involvement of multiple intermediary actors are driving pricing erosion, placing significant pressure on vaccine margins and limiting ability to reinvest in the next generation of breakthrough vaccines. To meet the urgency this moment demands, US Vaccines has established a priority ‘Go to Market Innovation’ program, led by a Pilot in Command, under executive sponsorship by the U.S. Commercial Division, U.S. Primary Care and U.S. Vaccines, tasked with establishing transformative routes to market that will appropriately increase vaccine administration rates and sustain vaccines innovation. In partnership with the Pilot in Command, this colleague will own building Fall 2026 pilot(s) to support Vx GTM innovation —collaborating with external parties to turn a partnership into a live, working channel model, driving it to proof, and translating into the analytics and multi-year strategy that scale it. This role will primarily focus on the end-to-end exploration, pilot, and longer-term ecosystem surrounding blood draw sites and will report into Susan Schneps (PIC).
