About The Position

Major Drilling America is seeking an experienced and confident Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all HR functions supporting our U.S. operations. This position is a key member of the leadership team and serves as a trusted partner to both management and front‑line employees. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and an effective communicator with the ability to balance strategic HR leadership and day‑to‑day employee support. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and workforce development in a multi‑state environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive professional HR experience
Relevant HR professional certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP) required or ability to obtain within one year of hire
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting multi‑state workforces
Mining, construction, industrial, or similarly regulated industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs
Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations, performance management, and compliance issues
Serve as a key advisor to leadership on workforce planning and organizational development
Performance management processes and employee development
Full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding
Administration of employee benefits and leave programs
Employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
Coordination of training and professional development programs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Support a multi‑state workforce across diverse operations
Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
