About The Position

Louis Dreyfus Company is hiring a commercially driven professional to lead customer sales and relationship management for its U.S. refined soybean oil business. The role serves as the primary commercial contact for key customers, developing partnerships and sales strategies that drive volume, margin, and long-term growth. It uses customer insights, supply-and-demand dynamics, and commodity-market knowledge to identify opportunities, negotiate and execute sales, and inform pricing and risk-management decisions. The position’s primary focus is owning and growing the customer-facing commercial business, with commodity trading and hedging knowledge also important. The Director works closely with operations, logistics, credit, quality, and trading teams to meet customer needs and maximize the value of LDC’s refined soybean oil portfolio. The position is based in Wilton, Connecticut, with a hybrid schedule of four days in the office and one remote day. Some travel is expected for industry conferences, internal meetings, and customer meetings. Extensions of regular working hours are occasionally necessary for time-sensitive projects, emergencies, and work across global time zones.
