About The Position

Wahed is seeking an experienced Country Head to lead the growth of its US operations. The role is responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan to increase market share, expand the customer base, and grow product offerings. It also requires strong project management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation of new initiatives. The Country Head will lead professionals across multiple departments and report on the performance of US operations to the C-suite.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in financial services, particularly fintech, investment management, or a related field.
• A proven track record of launching and scaling operations in new and existing markets.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing teams across multiple functions.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Understanding of local regulatory requirements and financial services market dynamics.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Knowledge of Shariah-compliant investing and Islamic finance.
• Experience working with and leading a diverse team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a country strategy aligned with Wahed's overall objectives.
• Increase market share, expand the customer base, and identify new revenue streams.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, partners, and industry experts.
• Oversee the launch of new products and features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Manage, guide, and support a team of professionals across multiple departments to achieve business goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Provide the C-suite with regular reports on operational performance, including financial metrics, customer acquisition, and product usage.
