About The Position

Our Convertible Bond Sales team is seeking a motivated and ambitious Analyst for a Sales assistant role in the New York office. This role offers the opportunity to grow into becoming a client facing salesperson after a few years.

Requirements

4 year college degree.
Strong Math Skills
Proficient in MS Excel
Self-starter with genuine passion for financial markets
Very strong communication skills.
Proactive, team player, detail-oriented, curiosity are musts.
Excellent time management abilities.

Responsibilities

Support the sales team coordinating with internal stakeholders in operations, KYC, banking and compliance.
Collaborate with trading, research, syndicate, and other functions to deliver exceptional service to our clients and to the sales team.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that back end operational tasks are completed. This includes monitoring and resolving trade breaks/settlement issues, assisting clients in accessing JPM research and onboarding new accounts.
Learn JPM Convert accounts and strategies to understand market participants and various trading styles.
Generate trade ideas & market commentary to distinguish yourself and to assist sales in identifying opportunities for clients and the desk.
Write a daily recap on market activity and valuation.
