Urology Tech
About The Position
CentraCare is seeking a versatile and dedicated Urology Technician/Nursing Assistant to support urologists and provide essential nursing care to patients. The Urology Tech functions under the direction of the RN and performs procedures related to orthopedic and urological care. The position requires flexibility to work in patient care areas throughout the hospital. Additional training and orientation will be provided to achieve the desired level of competency. This is a part-time position scheduled for 36 hours every two weeks. Shifts are 12 hours, from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with work every third weekend and every third holiday.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training course or completion of three months of a healthcare program, or at least three months of direct patient care experience in lieu of the required education.
- At least three months of experience as a nursing assistant, student nurse, medic, EMT, or in a similar role.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider card, as required by established policy.
- NCI certification.
Responsibilities
