Urology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant
About The Position
Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for residents with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. The position supports residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities and works alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, personalized care. The role involves assessing patients, creating and adjusting treatment plans, monitoring progress, educating and counseling patients, diagnosing and treating urological conditions, and documenting care in electronic medical record systems. Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
- DEA license.
- CPR BCLS/BLS certification.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Must have great organizational and time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in Urology.
- Preferred experience documenting in EMR systems such as Sigma, Visual, or PCC; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Diagnose and treat residents with urological conditions, diseases, and infections.
- Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems.
