About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Urology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for residents with urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and other urological disorders. The role serves residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities and involves working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, personalized care. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
DEA license.
CPR and BCLS/BLS certification.
Master's degree in Nursing.
Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

A year of experience in Urology.
Experience documenting in EMR systems such as Sigma, Visual, or PCC; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Provide patient education, counseling, and support on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
Diagnose and treat residents with urological conditions, diseases, and infections.
Document patient encounters, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, using electronic medical record systems.
