About The Position
Harlingen Medical Center provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community and is expanding access to specialty care across the region. Harlingen Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join and expand its urology service line. The position offers a strong surgical case mix and established referral base.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- Eligible for or active Texas medical license
- DEA license or eligibility
- Strong surgical and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat urologic conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform urologic surgical procedures consistent with training and expertise
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialty providers
- Participate in call rotation as assigned
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies
