About The Position

This is a permanent Urologist position based in East Chicago & Hobart, IN, operating within a hospital/clinic service setting. The role requires both clinical coverage and on-call duties on an ongoing basis. The clinical schedule is Monday through Friday with a flexible arrangement, while the on-call schedule involves a 1:4 rotation, providing both inpatient and outpatient coverage. The patient population consists of adults, with a flexible clinic volume that includes admissions, rounding, and phone consults. The case mix primarily involves general urology, with the added opportunity for the physician to incorporate their subspecialty interests. The facility utilizes the Epic EMR system, which is HIMSS Stage VII, and is equipped with full urology procedural capabilities. The successful candidate will benefit from a multidisciplinary physician network for specialty backup and support from an established physician group, including mentorship. The position is available due to the organization's growth and expansion initiatives. Hospital privileges are required, and the credentialing process is estimated to take approximately 90–120 days.

Requirements

• General urology procedures
• Inpatient and outpatient urologic care
• Eligible for IN license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• DEA: Required
• Ability to work in collaborative group practice

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient urology care
• Perform urologic procedures and surgeries
• Participate in call rotation
• Build and develop a personalized practice
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
