About The Position

Seeking a Urologist for a Locum Tenens position in Knoxville, TN. This is an inpatient, call-only role to provide supplemental coverage. The coverage period is from June 26th and ongoing. The call schedule is to be determined, with a beeper call type and a 20-minute response time. Daily responsibilities include phone consults (average of 10), patient volume of 5-15, and rounding. The department has 99 beds. Support staff includes 1 MA, 1 APP, and 1 Office staff. Required procedures include General Urology (Adult) and Ureteroscopy. Temporary privileges are available.

Requirements

• Active TN License
• BC/BE in Urology

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient urology coverage.
• Handle phone consults (average of 10 per day).
• Manage patient volume of 5-15 patients.
• Perform rounding.
• Conduct General Urology (Adult) procedures.
• Perform Ureteroscopy procedures.
